Exploring LA Fall Favorites

Your guide to living like a local this Fall

With the fall season drawing near, it's the perfect time to explore some of LA's favorite outdoor hotspots and must-see sights in and around Hollywood.

Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory

Sitting in the Hollywood Hills and visible from Loews Hollywood Hotel is the Griffith Observatory. Locals and tourists alike flock here for scenic nature hikes and sweeping views of Los Angeles. The observatory allows guests to explore outer space, discover a variety of space and science exhibits, and take in the beautiful art deco architecture of the building itself.

Runyon Canyon Views

Runyon Canyon

If you're itching to get out and hike like the locals do, Runyon Canyon is the place to be. Known for its breathtaking views of Los Angeles and high-profile exercising spot of the stars, this fantastic trail is a quick walk from Loews Hollywood Hotel. The fresh fall air is the perfect time to explore the trail. Sunscreen, a hat, an insulated bottle of water, and good walking shoes are a must to ensure you're properly equipped for this often steep hike. But trust me, the views are well worth it!

Warner Brother's Studio Tour

Warner Bros. Studio Tour

If you're into TV and cinematic history and trivia, but don't quite want to spend the day at a theme park, look no further than the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Located just a few miles from Loews Hollywood Hotel in Burbank, this popular attraction is the home of some of TV and film's most iconic sets. Fans of Friends, Gilmore Girls, and The Big Bang Theory will be in heaven as they explore the shows' well-known sets. Unlike at Universal Studios Hollywood, the WB tour gives you a chance to exit the tram to explore real-life sets with your tour guide and visit behind-the-scenes areas like the Prop House and working sound stages.

A Large Crowd Of People Standing In Front Of Hollywood Bowl

Hollywood Bowl

The Hollywood Bowl is a Los Angeles icon and conveniently just a quick walk from Loews Hollywood Hotel. With the LA Philharmonic and a handful of other popular artists taking the stage over the summer and into the fall, it's no wonder this popular venue continues to draw crowds even when the weather cools down. Whoever's headlining, you're in for a memorable evening of music outdoors.
