Loews Sapphire Falls Resort's Strong Water Tavern wins "Best Hotel Restaurant"

Strong Water Tavern has won the Critic’s Choice “Best Hotel Restaurant” award in the Orlando Sentinel’s 24th Annual Foodie Awards.

"The Strong Water Tavern at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort shuttered up for a bit during the height of the pandemic, so I haven’t yet had the pleasure of extolling its many virtues, not the least of which is a wall of rums — rare and  vintage — though I swear that’s not the only reason I’m putting it at the top of my list. Its wonderful menu, filled with delicious small plates that span the Caribbean — Mexico, the Bahamas, Cuba, more — is a delight and yes, OK, fine, the bites here do a great job of offsetting the sampling you are sure to want to enjoy."
