Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando offers guests a retro-style theme at this prime value hotel. In December 2022, Shakes Malt Shoppe opened, adding to Cabana Bay Beach Resort’s classic Florida beach resort theme of the 1950's and 60's.

This dessert quick service option is located near the Bayliner Diner dining area at Cabana Bay Beach Resort serves malts, milkshakes, smoothies, savory and sweet bakery items, and sundaes.

Shakes Malt Shoppe looks like an old-school ice cream parlor. Guests order from the counter, and bar area nearby is the perfect place to sit while enjoying their sweet treats. Of course, this bar area also offers enough charging outlets that the illusion of being in the 1950s and 1960s disappears.

Shakes Malt Shoppe sells three different types of milkshakes. The classic with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream costs $8.50. Guests can also select the PB&J or Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Banana versions for $10. Each shake can be converted to a malt for $1 more. Floats ($8.50) come in three flavors: Coca-Cola, Root Beer, and Creamsicle.
