Eat through Thanksgiving Day in NYC
Thanksgiving is around the corner, and happily, this year, restaurants in the city are fully welcoming vaccinated guests for cozy indoor and outdoor dinners. Italian, Greek, Japanese, Middle Eastern and soul food spots are all offering their take on meals for the holiday, which has origins in an uneasy, temporary alliance between 17th-century English settlers and members of the Wampanoag Confederacy. Here is a selection of restaurants across New York City — located on Indigenous land known as Lenapehoking, home to the Lenape people — that are offering a memorable Thanksgiving meal this year.
