Loews Atlanta Hotel Welcomes Reggie Dominique as New Managing Director
Luxury hospitality veteran to lead charge of Midtown’s Award-Winning Hotel
Loews Atlanta Hotel has appointed Reggie Dominique as its new Managing Director. A 30-year hospitality veteran, Dominique brings his wealth of experience, energizing demeanor and luxury hotel expertise to Midtown’s 414-room AAA Four-Diamond property, where he will oversee all pillars of Operations, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing and Finance.
Working in tandem with the existing management team, Dominique is setting his sights on three primary components: continuing to elevate the art of personalized service, developing new in-room experiences, and maintaining the hotel’s commitment to community service programs.
Dominique’s journey began as a telephone operator at The Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, California, where he then grew with the brand for 25 years in varying roles across Sales & Marketing and Operations at properties in Pasadena, California; St. Louis, Missouri; Palm Beach, Florida; San Francisco, California and back to his hometown of Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining Loews as Managing Director in Hollywood, California (Jul. 2020), he was Hotel Manager for the JW Marriott in LA (Jan. 2019 – Jul. 2020) and General Manager at The Renaissance LAX (May 2016 – Jan. 2019).
Bi-lingual in both English and French, Dominique was born and raised in Southern California, and attended Santa Clara University on a football scholarship where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. He credits the lessons learned as a “team player” as the foundation for which he has built a rewarding career in hospitality. Still today, he concludes every morning stand-up meeting with his leadership staff with a motivating power-clap.
“It takes unyielding communications between departments to ensure each and every guest is tended to in a personalized manner – from ensuring the dining departments are aware of preferences and food allergies, to housekeeping preparing a room exactly to one’s liking,” explains Reggie Dominique, Managing Director at Loews Atlanta Hotel. “Travel has enriched my life through the many immersive experiences I have had the opportunity to be fully present for, and I intend to lead my new team to create those same memorable experiences for our guests.”
Dominique’s appreciation of global cultures, immersive localized experiences and history lend to his love of travel. For leisure, he enjoys staying physically active by playing sports and working out, reading and cooking. Reggie is the youngest of five children and enjoys spending time with his wife Patty, his 22-year-old daughter Simone, and 20-year-old son Luc.
