Loews Arlington Hotel Shows Love for its City
Love is in the air in Arlington. Loews Arlington Hotel is showing love for the city ahead of its opening through art, local partnerships and oversized public displays of affection.
Loews Loves Arlington Sculpture ∞
The Loews Arlington Hotel team commissioned Arlington-based artist and educator, Justin Ginsberg, to create a glass blown sculpture to commemorate the opening of Loews Hotels' second and largest property in Arlington on February 13, 2024. Ginsberg is the Assistant Chair and Glass Area Coordinator in the Art History Department and an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). His work has been featured in museums around the country including his most recent solo exhibition, Sky Column: Shaking the Shadow, at The Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, Texas. The state-of-the-art studio space in which the Loews sculpture was created and where Ginsberg teaches UTA students in the glass program, is well-known for being the largest glass blowing educational studio in the country.

We wanted to commemorate the opening of Loews Arlington in a meaningful way by deepening the relationships with our community partners and showcasing the incredible local talent,” says Complex Managing Director, Stephen Cummings. “Justin has been wonderful to work with and brought our vision to life.”
The sculpture is entitled, Loews Loves Arlington -- fitting considering its infinity heart shape and the timing of the hotel’s opening, just one day before Valentine’s Day. The sculpture will be on display permanently in the Library of the Loews Arlington lobby for guests and locals to view.
Light the Night
Loews Arlington has turned its LEDs red to signify its love for the City and will create an oversized heart on the side of the hotel with guest room lights beginning on Sunday, February 11 through opening day. Additionally, street banners with "Loews Loves Arlington" will line Randol Mill Road in Arlington’s Entertainment District for the month of February.
