Loews Arlington Hotel Announces New Restaurants and Lounges Opening in February
Dine at Five New Food and Beverage Concepts
Loews Arlington Hotel is a full-service meetings and resort destination opening in the epicenter of the Arlington Entertainment District on February 13, 2024. The hotel will feature five new dining experiences under the helm of Mouhssine “Moose” Benhamacht, who was appointed Executive Chef in October.
Benhamacht has a long history of working alongside award-winning chefs at restaurants and Loews Hotels in metropolitan cities across the United States including Atlanta, Napa Valley, San Francisco and Orlando. In his most recent post, he served as Executive Chef at Live! By Loews – Arlington since the hotel’s opening in 2019. Chef Moose was hand selected to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience in French, Mediterranean, Pacific Rim, Asian and regional American cuisine to the new Loews Arlington Hotel, where he will oversee the culinary operation from concept to execution for the hotel’s five new dining experiences, banquet functions at the hotel and attached Arlington Convention Center, 24-hour in-room dining and curated hotel culinary programming.
The new restaurants and lounges include:
Farena – The signature Italian restaurant will deliver authentic Italian experiences and serve as the culinary center of the property. Chef Moose is passionate about creating expertly crafted cuisine according to Italy's culinary traditions with a mix of fresh, local ingredients and those imported directly from Italy. The three-meal period Italian restaurant features two larger-than-life wood-fired stone pizza ovens that produce more than 70% of the menu including Neapolitan-style pizza. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a Pasta Lab where chefs make fresh pastas daily with premium ingredients and traditional Italian execution. Culinary classes will also be taught here throughout the year.
Farina, or Farena in local dialect, translates directly to "flour" and refers to the ground, edible portion of any cereal grain. The name Farena, however, is not used only in reference to this meticulously selected and all-important ingredient, but also more broadly as a metaphor for the granular level at which each part of the guest experience is considered and executed.
The Veranda – (Opening spring 2024) An extension of Farena, the outlet under a covered patio overlooking the Resort pool serves the full Farena menu but offers a change in ambiance for those that want to drink or dine under the Texas sky.
Tomar El Sol – (Opening spring 2024) Translated as “to drink up the sun.” A poolside cantina featuring a menu that includes traditional taqueria favorites such as tacos, empanadas, quesadillas, guacamole, and street corn, supplemented to satisfy all guests with salads, burgers and flatbreads. Sip on agua frescas or a frosty margarita with views overlooking the Resort pool.
THE | BAR – The Lobby bar serves as a central meeting place and social hub for hotel guests and locals. Enjoy a libation from the extensive cocktail list showcasing handcrafted drinks on comfortable lounges surrounding the indoor/outdoor fireplace.
Railbird – A coffee shop and artisanal market that gives the option to grab and go or savor and stay. Select from gourmet light and healthy fare with your morning espresso featuring illy Coffee or a sweet treat at the day's end. Railbird offers guests easily accessible yet gourmet prepared meals, snacks and beverages throughout the day.
Debuting summer 2024:
Soy Cowboy – A highly anticipated Berg Hospitality Group original concept, this upscale and sophisticated pan-Asian dining experience transports guests on an adventurous tour through the flavors of China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and more. The menu includes a selection of sharable plates that explore classic Asian cooking techniques including traditional sushi, tempura, wok, robatayaki, hibachi and teppanyaki, as well as Korean barbeque. Guests can also enjoy curated libations from an innovative cocktail menu paired with an extensive wine and sake list. For more information and updates, visit www.soycowboy.com.
